The nation's eagerly anticipated flagship smartphone series from TECNO will soon go on sale. With a launch scheduled for later this month, the tech company will introduce the Phantom X2 and X2 Pro in Kenya.
The Phantom X2 and Phantom X2 Pro are amazing gadgets thanks to their features and specifications. The Mali G710 MC10 GPU and Dimensity 9000 5G(4nm) chipset, along with 8GB and 12GB RAM for the normal and Pro versions, respectively, power the series. HiOS increases virtual RAM by 5GB.

They both have 5160mAh batteries with support for 45W fast charging and 256GB of onboard UFS 3.1 storage.
Additionally, they have a 6.8-inch, slightly curved Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, a P3 broad color gamut, a refresh rate of 120 Hz, and a 20:9 aspect ratio. Victus Gorilla Glass is there to provide security.
Both devices have Android 12 and HiOS 12 out of the box in terms of software. Being that Android 13 has been available since its release in August of last year, it is a little disappointing.
But according to TECNO, the series will receive the Android 13 upgrade later this year. It's still a long time to wait, especially for a gadget costing over $100,000 and with its competitors already bragging about using Android 13 as their operating system.
For selfies, we get a 32MP selfie camera.

Both main cameras' video recording is limited to 4K 60 frames per second, while selfie movies are only supported in 1080p 60 frames per second.
